Coronet - pricing and booking

We’ve made a few “interesting” choices with pricing and registration for Coronet of Fools. We’d like to explain what lead us to these decisions, and the impact we think they’ll have.

First fighting practice of 2019

Dun In Mara’s first armoured combat practice today was attended by six hardy, devoted souls, five of whom reported various levels of seasonal illness. Hence there was no actual armour, and more slightly glazed expressions than normally. There were drills designed to work on creating openings and making use of those, as well as drills to practice flow, and as a a counter, minimal blocking. Lots of basic slow work, too. We finished early due to the overall lack of mental and physical resources, but are looking forward to coming weeks of hopefully better health! Do come along and join us.

Armoured fighting practices - Spring 2019

Happy New Year from Armoured Combat. Here are our practice dates for the first quarter of the year.

Cruinniú - April 2019

Fighters and dancers ahoy! Following last year’s successful introduction of the new fighting event in the Kingdom’s Calendar, Dun In Mara once more invites you to a weekend of the arts of war and the arts of peace, supported by the shire’s usual hearty hospitality. We warmly welcome all from outside our island who would wish to come cross swords with us, to dance with us, or to just make merry with us.

Merry Christmas!

Best wishes for Christmas and the new year from Dun in Mara! Our practices have now finished for 2018. Here are the dates for when our practices resume in January 2019.
